1. Your purchase
These terms apply to purchases of FareCo Archive — Founding Edition · Secure Download through fareco.store.
The initial Secure Download offering is available to customers in the United States as a one-time purchase. The purchase price and any applicable taxes are shown before you complete checkout.
Your purchase includes a perpetual license to use the FareCo Archive Founding Edition software, electronic delivery of the installer, a license key, and limited Included FareCo AI assistance as described below.
This purchase does not include a USB drive, a physical shipment, or an ongoing subscription for ordinary non-AI archive use.
2. Your software license and archive
Your Founding Edition software license is perpetual, subject to the applicable End User License Agreement (EULA).
The approved license is for one household and permits up to two concurrently registered devices, with up to four lifetime device activations under the applicable device policy.
An internet connection is required for initial license activation. After valid activation, ordinary non-AI archive functions can operate locally without a recurring subscription or periodic online license verification.
You retain the ownership and rights you already have in the photographs, documents, videos, metadata, and other materials you add to your archive.
Your perpetual license to the purchased software edition does not automatically guarantee future major editions, indefinite technical support, compatibility with future operating systems, or the continued availability of optional online services.
Applicable EULA and device-policy reference: FareCo Archive EULA, version 1.0 (FCL-EULA-1.0); EULA section 1 — YOUR SOFTWARE LICENSE and section 5 — PERMITTED USE AND LICENSE PROTECTION.
3. Secure Download delivery
After successful payment, we aim to send your FareCo delivery email within 10 minutes. It contains your secure installer download link, license key, and setup instructions.
Payment-processing, technical, or email-provider delays may occasionally take longer.
Please provide an email address you can access. If your message has not arrived, check your spam or junk folder, then contact support@fareco.ai with your order number and purchase email address.
Your secure download link is available for 30 days after issuance. This is the download link's access period; it does not expire your software license.
Replacement download links may be provided following applicable purchase verification and download-access rules. A replacement download does not create a new software license or restart the Included AI period.
4. Your 30-day satisfaction guarantee
We want you to be satisfied with FareCo Archive.
If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may request a full refund under this satisfaction guarantee. Your guarantee begins when you purchase FareCo Archive.
You do not need to prove that the software is defective. Downloading, installing, or activating FareCo Archive does not cancel this guarantee.
If a verified FareCo-caused delivery failure prevents you from accessing your purchased download, we will provide a reasonable extension of the guarantee period to account for that problem.
Deadline for requesting a refund
To request a refund, email support@fareco.ai. Your request must reach that address by the end of the 30th calendar day after your purchase date, using U.S. Central Time.
For this calculation, the purchase date is the date of your Shopify purchase expressed in U.S. Central Time. The following day is day one. Calendar days include weekends and holidays.
A request received within that period remains timely even if we verify the purchase or process the refund afterward. The reasonable extension for a verified FareCo-caused delivery failure remains available. Nothing in this deadline limits rights that applicable law does not permit us to exclude.
Refund amount and payment method
A full refund under our satisfaction guarantee includes the software purchase price you paid and any sales tax collected on that purchase. We do not deduct payment-processing fees or charges for Included FareCo AI usage.
Refunds are issued to the original payment method. If a payment-provider restriction prevents us from completing the refund, we will contact you to resolve the issue.
Refund processing
We normally submit eligible refunds for processing within five business days after receiving your request and the information reasonably needed to verify your purchase. If additional information is needed or a processing issue causes a delay, we will contact you with an update.
After we submit the refund, your bank or payment provider may take additional time to credit your account.
Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding U.S. federal holidays. This processing timeframe does not extend any shorter deadline required by applicable law.
5. What happens after a full refund
An ordinary completed full refund ends the paid-AI benefits associated with the refunded software purchase, including Included FareCo AI and any separately supported BYO AI access.
However, your perpetual non-AI archive rights remain available, subject to the existing activation and device rules.
Your original files, existing metadata, archive organization, and previously generated content are not removed or changed to enforce an ordinary refund. You may continue using the supported non-AI archive functions.
Future download access associated with the refunded purchase is subject to the applicable download-access restrictions.
A refund request or pending payment adjustment is not the same as a completed full refund.
6. Included FareCo AI assistance
Your purchase includes a limited amount of FareCo-funded AI assistance to help you explore and interpret your archive materials.
Included AI is available until its usage allowance is exhausted or until 365 consecutive 24-hour days after the first successful activation of your retail software license, whichever occurs first.
The 365-day period begins with successful license activation—not when you purchase, download, or install the software, and not when you first use an AI feature.
The available amount of Included AI is limited. Usage varies depending on the features and requests you make, so the allowance does not represent a guaranteed number of AI responses.
Included AI usage does not automatically renew or roll over. Adding another permitted device, reinstalling the software, downloading it again, or receiving a replacement license does not restart the original period or replenish the allowance.
FareCo may review requests for individual courtesy extensions. Extensions are discretionary and are not automatic.
Ending Included AI assistance does not end your perpetual non-AI software license or remove your archive materials.
7. Optional AI processing and other AI options
AI assistance is optional. FareCo Archive's ordinary non-AI archive functions remain separate from AI services.
When you request AI assistance, information associated with your request, including relevant selected archive context, may be processed through FareCo's online AI service and an external AI provider. Further information will be provided in the applicable Privacy Notice.
AI-generated responses can be incomplete or inaccurate. They are intended to assist your exploration and interpretation, not to replace your own judgment or the information in your original archive materials.
Other customer-controlled AI options, where supported, are separate from Included FareCo AI. Such options may require an individual provider account, separate usage charges, and applicable FareCo eligibility verification.

8. Cancellations and special circumstances
If you wish to cancel an order, contact us promptly. Digital fulfillment may already have started when your request is received.
Delivery or activation does not, by itself, remove your rights under the 30-day satisfaction guarantee.
Partial refunds, goodwill adjustments, and exceptional circumstances are reviewed according to the applicable purchase and licensing policies.
We may consider reasonable goodwill refunds outside the stated guarantee on an individual basis. This does not change the guarantee or limit rights provided by applicable law.
9. Other important terms
These Terms of Sale concern your purchase. The EULA separately governs your licensed use of FareCo Archive.
Any later pricing, software edition, trial offer, subscription, or promotional arrangement is separate from the terms applicable to your existing purchase unless an applicable agreement or law provides otherwise.
Nothing in these terms is intended to exclude consumer rights or remedies that applicable law does not permit us to exclude.
